RSU?? Termination???

What have we done so far

08 June 09	Correspondence to MCCR in regards of the lack of transparency of RSU and sick leave policy
09 June 09	Replied from MCCR, but only links of the sick leave policy from iconnect was given, actually no solid answer from management
17 June 09	FAU sent an email subjected “Sick Leave Policy & Termination”, requested members to contact FAU if they have any concern
20 June 09	An article on Apple Daily, subjected “Termination of 5 CX cabin crew in relative of Sick Leave Policy”, brought our concern to the public
17-24 June 09	6 members and 3 non-members who have been terminated, contacted FAU and told us how they were treated unfairly. Many members sought our help, also shared with us about their bad feeling. FAU sought advice from Labour Department and Equal Opportunities Commission.
30 June 09	FAU answered press enquires from four main newspapers regarding RSU & unfair termination
02 July 09	Latest Infauline subjected “Report Sick & RSU”, stated clear that RSU=Reserved due to suspension
03 July 09	5 articles on “Apple Daily”, “Oriental Daily”, “Ming Pao Daily”, “Sing Tao Daily” and “The Sun” reported RSU news, showed the public do concern about CX unfair termination
01-08 July 09	FAU seldom received members’ complaints about termination, after all those pressure gave to the management. FAU hope the termination practice has been slowed down.
14 July 09	FAU and ISD meeting, RSU will be included in the agenda ISD agreed to adopt our suggestion that when we report sick before we see the doctor, we should inform Crew Control that we will call back to confirm the dates of sick leave after seeing doctor, and this should not be counted as calling sick twice. Also, ISD agreed to reflect the above in the Sick Leave Policy.
